- ➤ The Kokomo Rotary Club donated a trailer to the Buddy Bags program to safely deliver meals for 312 children at six elementary schools each week, working with United Way-Howard & Tipton Counties. - ➤ On Dec. 10, IU Kokomo held its holiday celebration to honor Employee of the Year recipients Meredith Dittfield and Susan Wilson. Chancellor Mark Canada recognized Dittfield for her work in financial aid and Wilson for restoring the campus Bulletin. Kokomo Lantern
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Indiana utility customer advocacy groups released proposals to lower energy costs for struggling ratepayers and small businesses. The plan calls for discounts (including a summertime shutoff ban) and regulatory changes to benefit low-income customers. Kokomo Tribune
