- ➤ The We Care Telethon began Friday evening — a 48-hour fundraiser featuring Hope Doll bidding managed by president Becky Varnell — uniting Kokomo residents around local charity efforts. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ Duke Energy Indiana is dedicating $320,000 in assistance through its Share the Light Fund to help customers pay energy bills, deposits and connection fees this winter season (eligibility depends on income and family size).
