- ➤ The Howard County Memorial Corp. launched the Military Heroes Banner Program to honor local veterans and raise funds for maintaining community memorials—banners costing $200, displaying veteran photos and service details for two years, are available for purchase at Freedom Financial Group on Main Street. Kirk Daniels said the initial banners have been hung at Memorial Park and more will be displayed around Kokomo soon. Kokomo Lantern
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo is hosting a free Night at the Museum event on Friday, Dec. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Seiberling mansion — 1200 W. Sycamore St. where community members will kick off their holiday celebrations. Pharos-Tribune
