- ➤ An experienced local hunter recounted that private landowners can use deer depredation permits from the DNR to allow trusted hunters to help reduce crop damage, and he explained that this method has helped him gain access in the past. - ➤ The Ivy Tech Foundation will celebrate Gratitude Tuesday on Dec.2 by thanking individuals and organizations who helped its students over the past year — including the local Kokomo Circle that raised nearly $21,000 in its 10th anniversary effort. Pharos-Tribune
