EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Elizabeth Foster, a Logansport High School senior, was named the 2026 Distinguished Young Woman of Cass County after winning the competition at Caston High School (held Saturday). She will compete in the statewide contest in February at IU Kokomo (next round scheduled). Pharos-Tribune
- ➤ Tri-Central Middle-High School officials announced the honor roll list for the first period on Nov 24—Jacob Blackford is among the students recognized for academic excellence. Kokomo Tribune

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Kokomo Humane Society reported on Monday that the strep zoo outbreak continues as several animals are reinfected with fewer falling ill, and the shelter is not taking in new animals while it manages the situation. Kokomo Tribune
