- ➤ United Way Serving Howard and Tipton Counties in Kokomo is hiring a CEO and President who must have 5-10 years of nonprofit leadership experience and be a local resident; applicants must submit a cover letter and resume by November 26 with a salary range of $81,000—$90,000 per year. - ➤ Kokomo firefighter Mason Davis was honored yesterday with a certificate of commendation and a stork pin for his quick actions on Oct. 28—he helped stabilize a woman in active labor and her baby until medics arrived, with Fire Chief Paul Edwards and Mayor Tyler Moore attending the ceremony while both patients remain in good condition.
