- ➤ Heartland Church has announced free wedding ceremonies for Christian couples who want an affordable way to join in marriage; couples can reserve a time slot on November 22 in several locations including Bourbon + Lakeville, Logansport, Plymouth, Rochester, Starke County, Winamac, and the Biker Church of the Heartland. - ➤ A multi-year project to honor fallen public service workers ended Friday when a memorial bench was unveiled at the Kokomo Public Maintenance and Refuse Department—led by AFSCME Local 2185 and local police and fire unions—and paid tribute to workers who died on the job. Kokomo Tribune
