Community First Bank of Indiana has donated $10,000 to a matching grant that grows to $30,000, $20,000 for an outdoor classroom at Bona Vista, and $30,000 for a mini golf course at Cutler Park that will open next year—each donation supports local nonprofits.

IU Kokomo will launch its new Small Business Development Center office on Nov. 13 at 10:30 a.m. in Innovation Hall to offer guidance to student entrepreneurs.

Updated guidance from the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service means that the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration must recalculate benefits for all 274,000 SNAP households, so November benefits will be delayed by at least one week—each household’s benefit is recalculated using a revised formula.
