CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ On November 14, the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra will hold Rocking Kokomo by Candlelight at The Hobson, where guests will enjoy live music, charcuterie, and candlelight as the KSO Quintet performs rock and pop favorites. The fundraiser for the Symphony’s 52nd season begins at 6 p.m. with a live auction following the performance (tickets are $35) and supports local arts. The Kokomo Post
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Western School Corporation in Russiaville is planning to decide over the next two months if it will use bond funds for renovating its intermediate school and installing a new turf football field—this proposal also includes resurfacing the track as part of the 2026 bond plan. Kokomo Tribune
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Indiana State Police is partnering with the DEA for a free and anonymous Prescription Drug Take Back event to help residents safely dispose of expired and unused medications while not accepting needles or certain vaping items. Collections will take place this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at all State Police Posts (except Toll Road Post), with Lafayette and Putnamville posts open on Friday. Giant.fm
