- ➤ On Thursday, seniors at Silver Birch in Kokomo took a hot air balloon ride after lining up on a makeshift plywood path; staff helped groups of five or six board the balloon — an event that gave the residents a once-in-a-lifetime chance to soar — marking a memorable adventure for the community. - ➤ Steve Parrott was named Kokomo Platform Manager by locally owned Chariot Automotive Group—he will oversee the McGonigal, Button and Academy locations in Kokomo and Tipton. The appointment was announced Oct 17 and is expected to streamline dealership operations within the group. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ Kokomo Uncovered featured Brandon’s Burgers at 401 Kentucky Dr, Kokomo, where the menu offers signature burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenderloins, fries—onion rings, and custom lemonade flavors. - ➤ On Oct 17, elementary students in Kokomo received free dental exams and sealants from Ivy Tech as dental staff member Walter Brown applied a tooth coating on a second-grader’s teeth — who wore red sunglasses — and said the child was cool. Kokomo Tribune
