- ➤ At an annual event raising money for dementia research, Kokomo resident Melissa Boonstra recalled feeling isolated after her mother died from Alzheimer’s nearly five years ago — she said she felt lost during her grieving process. - ➤ Eric Dill, a Kokomo native and former assistant coach, has been named head coach for Kokomo High School’s Wildkat baseball team ahead of its 84th season—he returns to lead the defending North Central Conference champions.
