- ➤ This week on The Ripple Effect Podcast, hosts Jessica Ausbrook and Kim Graves featured special guest Jerome Williams from CAM to explain how the group helps Kokomo residents with shelter, case management, and financial life skills. Jerome said CAM focuses on helping people nearing homelessness—calling on donations and volunteers—so that those in need can get back on their feet. The Kokomo Post
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Eastern Howard School Corporation launched a special education preschool for children aged 3 to 5 in the Eastern school district this school year — seven students are enrolled on different days. The program provides targeted developmental learning for students with disabilities. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ Last month, Pioneer High School named Aspen Moolenaar as homecoming queen and Brady Price as homecoming king in a brief ceremony at the school. Pharos-Tribune
