- ➤ Tri-Central High School was ranked the 18th best high school in the state by U.S. News — World Report for the 2025-26 school year, making it the top ranking in the local coverage area. This achievement reflects its strong academic reputation ahead of the new school year. Kokomo Tribune
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Kokomo Common Council meets at City Hall to review the 2026 budget and consider a controversial trash fee ordinance — council members will vote on the issues this evening. Kokomo Tribune
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Kokomo finished 14th in a 15-team girls golf regional at Lafayette Jeff on Saturday — the team shot a 423 and Mia Drake recorded a 96 — leaving the Wildkats out of the state finals.
