Local filmmakers earned awards at the sixth annual 48-hour film festival held last Friday at Sun King Brewery (500 N.

Buckeye St. A), where 10 films were shown and returning participants impressed judges.

Community members will carry donated food and personal care items in a 2.2-mile ruck march tomorrow to honor 9/11 victims and support veteran mental health.

The march begins at Nickel Plate Trailhead at Stellantis Indiana Transmission Plant North (near U.S. 35 and CR 400 North).
