- ➤ Jerome Williams, the new director of Coordinated Assistance Ministries in Kokomo, found that the nonprofit does more than shelter people by offering financial help, rides, and housing support to about 60 clients daily. He plans to open new offices to help more people and build stronger services with new funds — CAM is set to grow further in the community. Kokomo Lantern
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Indiana has earned a AAA rating from S&P Global Ratings, Moody’s Investors Service and Fitch Ratings — the highest sign of strong fiscal management and low debt that helps lower borrowing costs for public investments. Giant.fm
- ➤ Indiana is launching a statewide accreditation program that will set new rules for County Veteran Service Officers—meant to improve veteran benefits and care. The standards will be rolled out by January 1 and all officers will need to meet them by July 1. Giant.fm
