- ➤ Kokomo PD responded Tuesday morning to a crash at Taylor Street and Apperson Way when a gray Shengmilo electric bicycle hit a parked trailer at Fashions on the Go and Alan Parkins suffered a severe head injury—he was taken to St. Vincent Kokomo Hospital and then flown to Indianapolis for treatment as investigators gather witness accounts. - ➤ A recent survey shows Hoosier employers want to offer on-the-job training for students and adult learners but many lack the time, capacity — or funds to support such programs. The study gathered responses from 348 employers in 62 counties and 17 industries and was supported by Ivy Tech and the Indiana Chamber Research Foundation. Pharos-Tribune

Mya Grigsby recorded 18 kills and 15 digs while Cali Cummings added 14 kills, and the team will face Columbia International, Aquinas, Marian and Indiana Tech in the Onset Invitational on Aug 22 and 23.
