- ➤ Pioneer High School seniors spent last week painting their parking spaces as part of an annual tradition to celebrate creativity for the Class of 2026. One painted space shows a butterfly motif with the numbers 2026 — reflecting personal hopes — while another features a puzzle made from a Star Wars quote — highlighting their pop culture passion. - ➤ Kokomo School Corporation said registration is open for Fall Youth Basketball Leagues with separate groups for boys (grades 1-6) and girls (grades 3-8); the boys’ assessment is on August 7th with games starting August 17th, and the girls’ assessment is on August 26th with games beginning September 9th.
