  • The Kokomo Police Department is seeking information on Jason Chamness, a 43-year-old white male last heard from by his mother in May and seen driving a silver and black 2012 Chrysler 300 on July 9 in Tipton County (blue eyes, brown hair, tattoo on his neck reading 'Jada' and a Playboy Bunny tattoo on his right hand).  Giant.fm

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Indiana University Kokomo and Southeast will expand a program that trains teachers to earn certification in teaching English as a second language. The pilot program finished this year at Logansport Community Schools — where more than half of the students speak a language other than English at home.  Kokomo Tribune
  • Ivy Tech Kokomo is accepting applications for Leadership Kokomo, a program that helps people learn leadership skills and connect with leaders from non-profit, civic, church and government groups+ it builds community awareness in Howard County.  Kokomo Tribune
