- ➤ Indiana officials announced that the cigarette tax will increase for the first time in nearly twenty years—and the gasoline excise tax will continue its one-cent annual climb—both changes taking effect today as the state fiscal year begins. Kokomo Tribune

- ➤ Gov. Mike Braun confirmed last week that Indiana spent over $1 million to buy four doses of execution drugs—some used and several expired—and he clarified that the drugs were purchased in two transactions—one made under former Gov. - ➤ The Indiana Department of Transportation closed the S.R. 931 ramp to southbound U.S. 31 south of Kokomo for concrete patching and joint repair on June 30—detour signs directed drivers to S.R. 26 to U.S. 31, and the ramp is expected to reopen in mid-July. Kokomo Tribune
