- ➤ A fundraiser for local radio host Dale Lowe reached $4,654.20—93% of its $5,000 goal—and his funeral will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel at 1801 Chase Rd with a viewing from 4 until 7 p.m. Pharos-Tribune
- ➤ Community First Bank participated in the FHLBank Indianapolis Community Multiplier Program and contributed $20,000 in matching funds, making a total of $220,000 for eight nonprofits in Hamilton, Howard, and Marion Counties. The funds will support affordable housing and community development efforts—helping local groups such as Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community improve housing for those in need. Kokomo Lantern
- ➤ Kroger and the Kokomo Police Department will work together to hold the Pack the Cruiser food drive on Saturday, June 28 at the Dixon Road store (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) to collect nutritious, kid-friendly food for the Howard County Summer Feeding Program, which plans to serve 500 local children each week.
