The Indiana Department of Environmental Management declared an Air Quality Action Day from midnight tonight to midnight EDT Thursday night—ozone levels will be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range, so people with respiratory issues are advised to limit outdoor exposure. - ➤ Indiana University Kokomo has received a $15,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation to fund paid clean energy internships that give students hands-on work with regional businesses—up to five placements will be coordinated by the Office of Sustainability to help students prepare for renewable energy careers.
