- ➤ The Kokomo Park Band will hold a free Side-by-Side concert on June 11 in Highland Park where high school musicians perform with seasoned professionals — if weather turns bad the event will move indoors. The band will also host its 30th Annual Youth Multicultural Rhythm Workshop for students in grades 1 through 5 next week, ending with a demonstration on June 28 at the Highland Park Bandstand — space is limited and registration is required. - ➤ Kokomo School Corporation is considering a $10.2 million bond for roofing and building maintenance projects around the district — bond proceedings began Monday at a school board meeting. Officials plan to announce final decisions in the coming weeks. Kokomo Tribune
