Good morning, Kokomo.

Volunteers have kept a community garden thriving for over 20 years — planting a dozen produce types and distributing over 3,000 pounds of food each season with funds from the Howard County Master Gardener Association and Purdue Extension — ensuring local food pantries receive needed donations.

A new logo by an IU Kokomo student was selected from eight entries for the 63rd annual Howard County Science Fair (projected as part of the Identity, Design, and Branding class led by Michael Koerner) set for February 2027.

At Championship Park, the Isotopes faced the Knights in 12U baseball and the Vipers battled Nitro in 10U softball last week, highlighting strong sportsmanship and big-league dreams.

Kokomo United Baseball and Softball competitions will continue through late spring + early summer.
