- ➤ Kokomo Urban Outreach announced plans to transform a patch of dirt northwest of Main Street United Methodist Church into a brick walkway and green space that will highlight local support (reflecting a lifetime of commitment). Pharos-Tribune
- ➤ Yesterday, Family Services Association received a $12,000 grant from Duke Energy Foundation to support its Veterans Employment Program at Jackson Street Commons (part of the America250 initiative) and honor local veterans' sacrifices. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ The Cass County Mental Health Initiative will host Tee Off the Stigma at Logansport Golf Club on June 28 — registration starts at 10:30 a.m., a concert with Jimmy Wright follows at 11 a.m., and the tournament tees off at noon with a hole-in-one prize of $1,000 from Promo Sports. Pharos-Tribune
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Indiana University Kokomo will host summer athletic camps for volleyball, basketball, and soccer with sessions starting June 3 at the Student Activities and Events Center and Droplight Grand Park Sports Complex.
