EDUCATION NEWS

➤ Friday morning, Kokomo High School seniors wore caps and gowns and took part in the annual Kat Walk, visiting elementary schools as they prepare for graduation next month (escorted by the Howard County Emergency Management Agency). Kokomo Tribune

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ The City of Kokomo will start downtown resurfacing work Monday, May 25 at 11 p.m., with milling at that time and paving on Tuesday at 11 p.m. Streets including Sycamore, Buckeye, Walnut, Main, Superior and Union will reopen by 8 a.m. as work wraps up by Wednesday, June 3. Giant.fm
