➤ Indiana Conservation Officers are urging residents to practice water safety as Memorial Day weekend nears. They advise families to wear Coast Guard approved life jackets, boat with a sober operator, and discuss safety tips (including keeping an eye on children) for a safe summer on the water. Giant.fm

➤ Northwestern High School swept the May 14 Howard County Track Meet at Taylor High, with its boys and girls teams posting dominant scores, including standout hurdles + relay wins. Several athletes advanced to the IHSAA Sectionals from this performance. Kokomo Lantern
