- ➤ Harney Elementary held its fifth-annual Kindy 500 race on Wednesday, May 19 at the school track, where young racers ran in a friendly contest while local families cheered. Pharos-Tribune
- ➤ Free summer meal programs return to serve Kokomo and Russiaville kids this summer; meals are offered at community centers, churches, and parks (no registration, ID, or income check is needed) from early June through July. The Kokomo Post
- ➤ AAA projects that 45 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home from today through Monday — a slight increase from last year. Kokomo residents should expect heavier traffic on highways during the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Kokomo Tribune
