Bud Fields visited Jackson Morrow Park yesterday and explored the Kirkendall Nature Center as part of his Outdoors with Bud series — he discussed how the park offers outdoor learning experiences for both children and adults.
Yesterday had many events across the county—such as a downtown farmers market from 9 a.m. to noon, a car show at Bona Vista, library activities at three branches, and a creature feature at Kirkendall Nature Center with pony rides.
The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra held a Diamond Jubilee concert yesterday and will offer a second matinee today at 2 p.m. at Havens Auditorium.

The Eastern Comets beat the Taylor Titans 17-3 by run-rule on May 9, leaving Taylor winless this season plus boosting Eastern's record to 15-5 with a five-game win streak.
The Kokomo Downtown Farmers Market remains open every Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the corner of Washington and Mulberry, where families can enjoy free kid-friendly activities.
