EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Ivy Tech held four ceremonies on May 8 at the Kokomo Campus, where nearly 1,400 graduates earned over 1,700 credentials. The event also honored Tanya Foutch and recognized selected student speakers and faculty for their contributions. Giant.fm
- ➤ Ivy Tech Community College's Kokomo Service Area celebrated the Class of 2026 on Friday with four commencement ceremonies held at Hingst Hall (graduates and families attended). Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ Ivy Tech Community College held four commencement ceremonies on Friday in Hingst Hall to honor nearly 1,400 Class of 2026 graduates from the Kokomo Service Area — the students are expected to complete work on 1,765 credentials by the end of Fall 2025, Spring and Summer terms. Pharos-Tribune
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Indiana Criminal Justice Institute is partnering with state police and local agencies to enforce seat belt use from May 11 to May 31 through the national Click It or Ticket campaign funded by NHTSA. Officers will issue citations for non-compliance to protect drivers, passengers and children on the highways. Giant.fm
