- ➤ NIPSCO and the NiSource Charitable Foundation announced that Indiana University Foundation, Kokomo Creek Restoration & Monarch Habitat Corridor will each receive a $5,000 grant to support local environmental projects. The award was given through a competitive process among 25 nonprofits. Giant.fm
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ INDOT announced the Galveston bridge over Deer Creek via U.S. 35 will reopen on June 16, bringing relief to motorists after nearly a year of detours near Fast Lane Foods & Phillips 66. Construction that began last week is expected to restore smoother traffic along the route. Kokomo Tribune
