- ➤ Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Service Area held three commencement ceremonies on Friday at Hingst Hall in the Health Professions Center for the class of 2025. The events honored 1,128 graduates — who are expected to finish 1,432 credentials by the end of Fall 2024 and Spring and Summer 2025 — with ceremonies at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ The Kokomo School Board will meet at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the Administrative Service Center at 1500 S. Washington St.—the board is set to appoint a new member following the death of Charley Hinkle. Four candidates, Adrienne Akers, Greg Finley, Kari Hunter and Joey Hurlocker, were interviewed last week and the chosen appointee will serve through 2028. Kokomo Tribune
