- ➤ Kokomo residents are invited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday today at a Patriotic Pops Concert, featuring an orchestra that honors the nation’s rich musical history. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ First City Recovery Center now displays new murals, including one at 120 W. Monroe St. featuring Dada the dog and a monarch butterfly with a thought bubble reading 'Muck Rock.' Painted by international artist Jules Muck in August 2019, the art adds creative energy to the center. Pharos-Tribune
- ➤ After a 15-year absence, the Haynes Apperson Festival Queen Pageant returns to downtown Kokomo for the festival’s 50th anniversary celebration on June 17, with applications open until June 1 for young women aged 16 to 21 to compete for the crown and festival appearances. The Kokomo Post
