Kokomo Mayor Tyler Moore announced the relaunch of the Kokomo Infill Program — the initiative will offer vacant lots owned by the Kokomo Community Development Corporation free to developers who sign a development agreement and build a new residential structure within one year, a move that builds on a similar 2024 program which completed 25 projects.

The Howard County Council approved an extra $500K Tuesday for the Sheriff’s Office’s Care of Individuals fund—this money will pay other counties a daily fee for housing local inmates instead of keeping them in county jail.
