- ➤ Middle school students from Marion will attend Indiana University Kokomo’s free Ignite Your Future camp from June 9th to June 13th to learn about college life. The camp offers on campus activities from June 9th to June 12th and a local field trip on June 13th (bus transportation and meals are provided) to help them plan their high school coursework for college. - ➤ On April 18th, 2025, Wallace Elementary first-graders shared their poems with family and friends at a poetry cafe reading — 7-year-old Nyla Meriwether read her work to her mother, Jazmine Meriwether, while other students engaged in playful activities during the event.
