➤ A Kokomo man—22-year-old Amarion Alsup—pled guilty for his role in a 2023 fatal Lafayette shooting and was sentenced to 45 years in the Indiana Department of Correction, with that sentence set to run consecutively with another case. Kokomo Tribune

➤ Ivy Tech Kokomo’s fundraising team—Kelly Karickhoff, Patti Moore and Miriam Thomas—joined Chancellor Ethan Heicher in celebrating the annual Ivy Tech Day event today as the campus exceeded its $45,000 goal by raising over $60,000 for student services, scholarships and emergency support.
