- ➤ Howard Masonic Lodge No. 93 is hosting a Regency Ball today at 6 p.m. to raise funds to repair its 103-year-old building; the event will feature food vendors, tarot card readers, dancing, and lessons in Regency dances led by volunteer Julie Bowman. Kokomo Tribune
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Eligible well owners can apply for free water testing through IDEM’s 2026 Groundwater Monitoring Network by submitting required documents online before June 1. Selected participants will have their water sampled between June and October + receive their results directly. Giant.fm

- ➤ Attorney General Todd Rokita said today his office will watch fuel prices during the 30-day gas tax suspension to help drivers get lower pump prices — consumers may report suspected price gouging in Indiana. Giant.fm
- ➤ The Indiana Department of Transportation is planning alternating lane closures on U.S. 35 between U.S. 31 and State Road 19 in Kokomo starting Tuesday, Apr. 14. Flaggers will direct traffic as paving work continues through the end of May, weather permitting. Giant.fm

- ➤ Visitors lined up Tuesday afternoon at IU Kokomo Student Activities and Events Center to view the championship trophy tour featuring IU Bloomington’s National Championship Football trophy plus trophies from the Big Ten, Rose Bowl and Peach Bowl.
