CRIME NEWS

  • The Kokomo Police Department is investigating a theft in the 2700 Block of South Goyer Road that occurred on March 29th at around 4:00 a.m. A suspect in an older blue Chevrolet truck pulling a trailer drove north, and the southbound lane of Apperson from Superior to Vaile will close on April 9th for about one week for storm line repairs while northbound lanes remain open for access to Central Middle School's east parking lot.  Kokomo Lantern

  • Clark Dietz, Inc. of Indianapolis earned a National Recognition Award for designing stormwater and roadway improvements that support the $6.3-billion Stellantis EV Battery Plant in Kokomo and a $24-million project that spans 1.5 miles of roadway and nearly 12,000 feet of storm sewer; the firm will be honored at the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (EEA) gala (May 20th) at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C.  Kokomo Lantern
