- ➤ Aaron Howard, an eighth grader at Tri-Central Middle/High School, spent a day as a Senate page with State Sen. Jim Buck—touring the Indiana Statehouse and observing debates—and gained firsthand insight into state government workings. - ➤ Indiana educators can apply for state parks field trip grants that offer up to $500 per application—covering transportation, fees and other costs for visits to state parks and recreation areas that help students learn about nature.
