🎭 Culture
Lucky Raven Tattoo — a repurposed pizza shop at Main and Walnut — offers custom tattoos and original artwork that support local artists in downtown Kokomo.
The shop also hosts holiday flash events to bring the community together.
🏛️ Government
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will close the left lane on U.S. 31 northbound between County Road 550 N and the State Road 931 ramp for concrete repairs starting Thursday, April 9 until the end of May, weather permitting; drivers are urged to slow down.
Parks Administrator Jan Fawley explained plans for a $9,179 crosswalk + enhanced with new lights at Spencer Park to help pedestrians cross High Street, with the City Council set to vote on the proposal Monday.
Governor Mike Braun announced a new Space Force license plate design today for veterans and disabled veterans; the plates will be available for eligible residents + Indiana Veterans Affairs director Jake Adams urges them to display their service with pride.
