- ➤ A new law signed this month revises Ivy Tech Community College's mission and governance structure to align its training programs with statewide education priorities + college leaders and lawmakers say the update will support workforce training + additional details are expected soon. - ➤ Crista Kendall was named the new chair of the Ivy Tech Kokomo School of Business after moving from a faculty role at Ivy Tech’s Muncie Campus. She will lead efforts to expand business programs that offer a range of career options for local students. Pharos-Tribune
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Indiana DNR established a permanent invasive carp harvest permit in December 2025 to manage the invasive species and update fishing rules, giving local anglers a new way to help protect local waters. Kokomo Tribune
