EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Kokomo CEO is hosting a student-run leadership summit on Feb. 25 at Crossroads Community Church South that revives the Taste of Kokomo tradition. The event blends local restaurant tastings with leadership workshops led by 17 high school students and features speakers including emcee Bree Bragg. The Kokomo Post
- ➤ Nine Ivy Tech Community College students from the Kokomo Service Area (including one from Logansport) were honored for completing the five-week 2025 Student Leadership Academy, which focused on developing leadership and professional skills. Pharos-Tribune
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Northwestern girls' gymnastics team won a meet against Western and the host Berries on Feb. 2 in Logansport by scoring 104.65 points to Western's 101.15 and Berries' 91.70. The team will return to Logansport on Feb. 21, and sectionals begin Feb. 27. Kokomo Lantern
