- ➤ The Kokomo Rescue Mission will celebrate 25 years with its Walk a Mile in My Shoes fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 28. Starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Mission (321 W. - ➤ Kokomo offers a full lineup of Valentine’s events, from a string art workshop today (2:30 p.m. at Village Creation Station) and a cozy Galentine’s event, to romantic dinners and unique experiences like a cow cuddle photo op later this week; locals are encouraged to register early as spots are limited. - ➤ Indiana University Kokomo held a white coat ceremony at Kresge Auditorium where 13 nurse practitioner students began their clinical training (marking the start of advanced health care education). - ➤ Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita advised Hoosiers to block robocalls by securing personal details (including financial data) and verifying caller identity. He warned that criminals use these scams to steal identities and money. Kokomo Tribune

- ➤ The HCAC signed an agreement with Kokomo High School and the Greater Kokomo Visitors Bureau to host its softball championship at the new facility built in 2023 through 2028. The tournament will run from Thursday, May 7 to Sunday, May 10. Giant.fm
