About 50 cancer patients and advocates will gather at the Statehouse tomorrow to urge lawmakers to pass legislation easing medical debt for patients.
Key speakers include a breast cancer survivor who faced over $75,000 in debt and representatives from the American Cancer Society.
On Friday, 4C Health marked one year of its REACH grant, which helped 341 people facing homelessness or housing instability in Miami, Cass, and Howard counties (it expanded outreach and improved access to behavioral health services).
The program is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
