- ➤ Tri-Central Middle School announced its honor roll students for the second grading period today. The sixth-grade students recognized with all As are Amelia R. Davis, Paisley B. Ludlow, Landon R. Marley, Harper N. Ruddell, Tyler K. Salsbery, Maxwell J. Vanosdol, and Leah M. Vernon. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ Toma the Mime surprised students at Ben Franklin Elementary during a Young Authors Day assembly on Thursday morning, sparking creativity with silent storytelling that encouraged them to write and perform. Pharos-Tribune
- ➤ House Bill 1137 would ban additives in ultra-processed foods served in public school meals for schools receiving federal funding. The proposal was introduced Wednesday by Rep. Julie McGuire (R-Indianapolis) to help improve student nutrition. Kokomo Tribune
- ➤ Hoosier students aged 13 to 18 can apply for the Indiana House Page Program, according to representatives Manning and VanNatter. The full-day program lets students view the legislative process, tour the Statehouse, and interact with their representatives during the 2026 legislative session (an opportunity to learn about state government).
